ISA GUITANA spent 10 years traveling to Mysore, India to practice under the guidance of Shri K Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Jois and was among the first Portuguese teachers to be Authorized by the Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India.

She felt this practice would challenge her, open her heart and bring her new levels of growth for a lifetime – an insight that has been continuously renewed.

Isa spends most of her time in Lisbon, Portugal with her family and teaching at her school, Casa Vinyasa - Ashtanga Yoga Shala, celebrating this year 14 years.

Over the years Isa has also taught throughout Portugal and across the world in Malaysia, Singapore, Bali, Brazil, and the United States.
